"Himalayan Sunrise" Himalayan Black Tartary Buckwheat Roasted Tea
Brewing up a viscous tea soup tasting of malt, puffed corn, and wheat. Tartary buckwheat is grown in the Himalayan region of Yunnan at an altitude of 2700 to 3200 meters! "That's over 1/3 the height of Mount Everest". This Tartary buckwheat also known as Indian buckwheat, was expertly processed through roasting, wetting (to remove outer sheath) and then lightly roasted again. It can be eaten directly but when brewed with boiling hot water makes a delicious tea and can be used many times! The brewed buckwheat kernels can then be eaten or added to your morning cereal or oatmeal! Himalayan black buckwheat is the highest altitude grown buckwheat in the world!
